A job I had done by another printer which seems to smudge easily – how can you avoid this?

Yes; there are several techniques, depending on the job. We might need to add ‘dryers’ to the ink to speed the drying process; adding a sealant (a clear varnish) may be the answer, or we may actually laminate the job (matt or gloss thin clear film) to solve the problem.
